Squeeze the lemon and set the juice aside.

Wash the basil leaves.

Cut open the avocado, remove the pit, and use a spoon to scoop out the flesh. If the avocado is large, use half. If you have a smaller Hass avocado or similar, use it whole.

Combine the lemon juice, basil, avocado, garlic, walnuts, Parmesan cheese, salt, and water in a food processor.

Blend and serve.

We experimented with Brazil nuts and the result was incredible. You can try making this recipe with any nuts, or even pine nuts.
