Baked Hake with Potatoes

Instructions

Peel the potatoes and onion and slice into thin rounds.

Preheat the oven to 300ºF. Arrange the vegetables in a baking pan, season as desired, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake at 360ºF for 15 minutes.

Then open the oven door, turn the vegetables over,and lay the hake fillet (or fillets) over the top. Season with a little salt and pepper and raise the temperature to 400ºF. Bake the fish for 10–15 minutes (depending on the fillet size).

Use a fork to check that the inside of the fish is properly cooked. Once the fish is done to your liking, take the baking pan out of the oven, and serve the fish and vegetables.
Tips & Tricks
If you have any other variety of white fish instead of hake, you can still bake it with onion and potatoes by following the same steps.
