Peel and cut your banana into small pieces. Place half of the butter into a pan that is on medium heat. When the butter has melted, add the banana and a teaspoon of sugar.

Let the banana caramelize a little, between 2-5 minutes.

Meanwhile in a bowl, beat the egg with a teaspoon of sugar. Add the banana to the bowl with the egg and mix well.

Add the rest of the butter to the pan and once it's hot, add the mixture. Cook on one side then flip to cook the other side. Serve warm.
Tips & Tricks
You can add a touch of brandy to give it a special touch when caramelizing the banana. Evaporate the alcohol when cooking with the banana. The rest of the steps are the same.
