Pantry ingredients
potato
14 oz
olive oil
2 tbsp
salt
1 pinch
Instructions
1
Boil water in a pot. Wash the potatoes and place in the boiling water without removing the skin. Cook for approximately 20-25 minutes. They should not cook all the way through. Once this time has passed, drain and let them cool. Once chilled carefully remove the skin and use a grater to grate.
2
Cut half an onion into thin slices. Lightly fry the onion in a pan with oil on medium heat until tender. Take care not to burn them.
3
Add the grated potato into a bowl and add the shredded cheeses and cooked onion. Add a pinch of salt and mix the ingredients. If you find that the task is difficult due to the mixture sticking to your hands, it is normal. You will see that it will become easier to mix.
4
Make little round shapes with the mixture.
5
Heat up some oil in a pan and fry each cake on both sides. Place on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil and serve hot.
