Chilled Apple and Celery Salad
“For these hot days nothing is better than a refreshing salad and this is definitely one of them. You serve it chilled, and the colder it is the better!”
Wash and peel the potatoes and cube.
Put water to boil in a pot and cook the potatoes. They will be ready when it feels tender when a fork pricks the center.
While the potatoes are cooking, take advantage and prepare the rest of the ingredients. First, wash and cut the apple into cubes. Then, wash and finely slice the celery.
Drain the potatoes, once cooked.
Mix the potatoes, celery, and apple in a bowl. Add a handful of raisins. Lastly, add the mayonnaise and mix the salad well so that every ingredient is covered with the mayonnaise.
Place in the refrigerator before serving chilled.
Tips & Tricks
If you would like to make this salad lighter you can substitute the mayonnaise for yogurt.
