Instructions

Prepare the rice by bringing the water to a boil in a medium pot.

Then, add the rice and lower the heat to a light simmer. Cover the pot, and allow the rice to cook for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. It's best to keep the lid on to make the rice fluffy.

While the rice cooks, divide the yogurt and maple syrup evenly between two dishes and set aside.

Once the rice is soft, turn the heat off but leave it covered for approximately 2 to 3 minutes to allow the rice to absorb any excess liquid.

Then divide the rice between the two dishes, placing the rice alongside the yogurt and maple syrup.
