Instructions

Peel the plantain and cut into medium thick slices.

Put water to boil in a pot. When it begins to boil add the plantain slices and cook until tender. Prick with a fork to see if they are tender.

Drain the plantains and place on a plate. Use a fork to mash into a puree. Let them cool a bit.

Add the grated cheeses to the plantain and mix well. Now make the balls and fry them in a pan with oil.

There is a chance that when you fry the plantain balls the cheese will ooze out a bit. To avoid this, one option is to make the balls with your hands, flatten them and place a small handful of grated cheese inside. Next you will close them so that the plantain covers all of the cheese and keeps it inside. Then you fry and enjoy.
