Begin by cooking the bacon in a medium sized skillet over low heat for approximately 5 minutes on each side. Place on a plate with paper towel after cooking to absorb extra grease.

While the bacon is cooking, wash and slice the tomato into thin strips, then set aside.

Assemble the sandwiches by toasting the bread then dividing the mayonnaise evenly between the sandwiches. Stack 2 pieces of bacon and 3oz of ham on each sandwich.

Then, layer the lettuce and tomato.

Slice the sandwich in half if desired.
