Instructions

Wash the cooked lentils under running water and drain.

Combine the lentils, the peeled garlic, almonds, cumin, salt, juice from 1/2 lemon, tahini, and oil in a blender. Blend, gradually adding the water until the mixture turns creamy.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and serve with carrot sticks.

Tips & Tricks

No tahini? No problem! Here’s an alternative. All you need is 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds and a little olive oil. Put a little olive oil in a skillet and toast the raw seeds over medium heat, taking care not to burn them, about 5 minutes. Let cool. Then blend together with the other ingredients to make the hummus. You'll see how delicious it turns out.
