Instructions
1
Slice a clove of garlic. Add a tablespoon of olive oil to a pan, once hot add the sliced clove of garlic. When it begins to color, add the rice. Stir for several minutes and then add the cup of hot water and teaspoon salt. Cook over high heat for 7 minutes, then lower the heat and cook on low for 8 minutes. If in this time the rice has absorbed all of the water and is still hard you can add more water. Let it stand with a towel or lid.
2
While the rice is cooking, wash and finely chop the parsley and the other clove of garlic.
3
Beat the egg in a large bowl. Add the parsley and chopped garlic and mix well. Next, add the ground beef, the shredded bread, wine, and a touch of salt. Mix well with a spoon.
4
Start making balls (size of your choice) with your hands. Add flour to a plate and lightly coat the meatballs.
5
Heat up oil in a pan and fry the meatballs. Now it's time to put your dish together in your tupperware. Place the rice on one side and the meatballs on the other. You're dish is now ready to be enjoyed at the office tomorrow!
Tips & Tricks
Do you want a tasty sauce to go with the meatballs? Dice an onion and 2 tomatoes into small cubes, and if you'd like, half of a green bell pepper. Add little oil into a pan and cook the diced onion. When it becomes tender add the tomato and if you've chosen it, the bell pepper. You will see that the tomato will begin to break down little by little, which is normal. Add 2 cups water and some salt and let it cook 15-20 minutes over medium-low heat.
