Peach and Cheese Sponge Cake
“A homemade sponge cake can be your perfect breakfast or snack for the next few days. So take advantage of the seasonal fruit and make it this time out of peaches. Don't forget to add some jam on top and you'll see how great it turns out.”
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Add the eggs, milk, mascarpone cheese, and sugar to a bowl and use a whisk to mix together. Whisk the ingredients for several minutes.
Add the flour, yeast, and cinnamon. Mix again.
Peel the apple and finely dice. Add to the mixture and whisk again.
Add the batter with the apple to a greased baking mold and bake for 40 minutes with the heat above and below. You will know it is ready when a toothpick comes out clean when you prick the center.
Tips & Tricks
If your apple is small use two.|Don't worry, add a bit of peach or apricot jam on top and you'll see how tasty it is.
