Dice the onion and green pepper into small bite-sized pieces.

In a medium-sized skillet add the ground turkey, onion, and green peppers, cook on low heat until the meat is browned and the vegetables are soft.

Add the sauces and spices to the skillet with the turkey mixture and cook for approximately 10 minutes over low heat.

Assemble the sandwiches by layering a slice of bread, shredded lettuce, ground turkey mixture, sliced cheese, sprouts, and finish it off with another slice of bread.

We used a whole wheat bun and pepperjack cheese, you could also use a pita pocket or another variety of cheese!
