“ Do you find yourself running out of ideas when it’s your turn to cook? It happens all the time. We’re here to take away the stress. Use the rice and cauliflower you might have in your fridge and a can of peas to make this delicious and nutritious bowl. You’ll be amazed how good it is. ”
1 small jar
Start by cooking the rice. Put 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan and heat. Then slice up the garlic and add. When the garlic starts to color, add the rice. Stir for a couple of minutes and then add 2 cups hot water and 1 teaspoon salt. Cook over high heat for 7 minutes, then reduce and simmer for 8 more minutes. If the rice has absorbed all the water in this time but is still hard, add a little more water. Let stand for a few minutes.
Drain the peas from the can.
Wash and cut the cauliflower into pieces. Cook in a pan of boiling water for 4–5 minutes. Then turn off the heat and drain.
Heat a little olive oil in a large skillet and lightly fry 1 garlic clove, sliced, and the onion stirring often. When a little soft, add the cauliflower and peas to the skillet. Season with a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat for 5–6 minutes, stirring regularly, until the contents of the pan are infused with the garlic and onion flavor.
Put the rice on a plate and serve the vegetables on the side.
