Preheat the oven to 360°F.

Wash the basil leaves and pat dry with a clean cloth.

Assemble each sandwich as follows: Spread 1 tablespoon tomato sauce over a slice of bread. Arrange a few slices (or a handful) of mozzarella cheese on top with 5 basil leaves. Cover with a little more mozzarella. Spread a second slice of bread with tomato sauce and cover the sandwich, sauce-side down.

Put the sandwiches into the oven at 400°F for 5 minutes, then take out and enjoy.
