Instructions

Wash and grate the zucchini. Put in a strainer and press well to squeeze out as much water as possible.

Mince 1 clove garlic and the onion using a knife (or a food processor, if you have one).

Combine the rolled oats, breadcrumbs, grated zucchini, and chopped garlic and onion in a bowl. Stir gently, then add the water, cumin and a little salt. Mix to a dough consistency that is easy to shape into patties using your hands (add a little more water if needed).

Shape the mixture into patties. A little liquid will drain out which is normal.

Fry the patties in a skillet with oil, removing when cooked. Drain on paper towels. Serve.
