Instructions

Wash the cucumber and slice into thin rounds and finely slice the onion.

Cut the smoked salmon fillets into wide strips.

Arrange the cucumber slices in a row on a tray. Make rows of onion and smoked salmon beside the cucumber. Finish with pieces of toast. If you have a lemon, add a few slices to decorate.

Assemble open sandwiches by putting a little cucumber, a few smoked salmon strips, and some onion on each piece of toast. You can also drizzle a little lemon juice over the top.

Tips & Tricks

Optionally, you can also spread the toast with a little cream cheese or butter before adding the toppings.

You should use whole-grain bread because it has more dietary fiber and it’s better for you than white bread.
