Chicken with Peppers and Onion

Wash and cut the bell pepper halves into strips. Cut the onion into strips and slice up the garlic.
Heat a little olive oil in a skillet and lightly fry the garlic, stirring often. After 1 minute, add the two chicken leg quarters to the skillet and sear over medium heat for 2 minutes on each side.
Add the onion, bell pepper strips, and salt. Reduce the heat to low and let cook for 15 minutes. Turn the chicken occasionally and use a wooden spoon to stir the vegetables often.
When the vegetables are soft and the chicken is cooked, serve on a plate.
Tips & Tricks
You can add a bay leaf to the vegetables for more flavor.
