Wash and cut the bell peppers into strips. Wash and cut the zucchini into medium chunks. Finally, slice up an onion.

Put a little olive oil into a skillet and cook the vegetables over medium heat, about 10 minutes. Stir from time to time and season with a pinch of salt. Then stir in the tomato sauce.

Cut the cod into pieces of the desired size. Pat dry well with paper towels and make sure there are no bones. Season the cod with a pinch of salt and dredge lightly in flour.

Put a little oil into another skillet and fry the cod.

Transfer the cod to the skillet containing the tomato and vegetable sauce and allow to soak up the flavor. Cook over low heat for 5–6 minutes. When the vegetables are soft and the fish is cooked through but still tender, remove from the heat and serve.
