Corn, Cheese, and Spinach Sandwich
“Do you ever realize that you are always enjoying sandwiches? They are fun, and there are so many varieties of sandwiches you can make. They don't take a lot of time to make, and you can take them anywhere. We've brought you a fun, new idea for your next sandwich! One made with corn, cheese, and spinach.”
1/2 small can
whole wheat bread
Wash the spinach and slice. Chop the garlic clove.
Add some olive oil to a pan. Once the oil is hot add the chopped garlic. Lightly fry for a minute, taking care not to burn it. Add the spinach. Add a pinch of salt and cook on medium heat, you will see that the volume of the spinach will slowly reduce.
Once the spinach is tender add the cream cheese, and drained corn. Use a wooden spoon to mix everything.
Place the bread on a cutting board. Spread the spinach mixture on one slice of bread and place a slice of cheese on top. Close the sandwich using the other slice of bread. Repeat these steps to put the other sandwich together.
Using the same pan as before, toast the sandwich on both sides, making sure that the cheese melts. And that's it! Time to eat.
