Fresh ingredients

cream cheese
2 tbsp

sliced cheese
2 slices

garlic
1 clove

spinach
5 oz
Pantry ingredients

olive oil
1 tbsp

corn
1/2 small can

whole wheat bread
4 slices
Instructions
1
Wash the spinach and slice. Chop the garlic clove.
2
Add some olive oil to a pan. Once the oil is hot add the chopped garlic. Lightly fry for a minute, taking care not to burn it. Add the spinach. Add a pinch of salt and cook on medium heat, you will see that the volume of the spinach will slowly reduce.
3
Once the spinach is tender add the cream cheese, and drained corn. Use a wooden spoon to mix everything.
4
Place the bread on a cutting board. Spread the spinach mixture on one slice of bread and place a slice of cheese on top. Close the sandwich using the other slice of bread. Repeat these steps to put the other sandwich together.
5
Using the same pan as before, toast the sandwich on both sides, making sure that the cheese melts. And that's it! Time to eat.
