Wash the spinach and slice the pickles.

Create the batter for the French toast by combining the milk, egg, sugar, and cinnamon in a shallow flat bottom dish.

Toast the bread, then dip both sides of the bread briefly in the batter, then place into a nonstick skillet and cook until both sides are golden brown.

Assemble the sandwich by layering the French Toast, pickles, ham, swiss cheese, and spinach, repeat this layer, then top with the last slice of French Toast.
