Couscous with Beef, Mushrooms, and Spinach

Instructions

Put a cup of water to boil with some salt. Before it begins to boil, turn off the heat and add the cup of couscous and a bit of salt. Let it stand until it hydrates, stir.

Chop the garlic, onion, and bell pepper into small cubes. Wash and slice or dice the mushrooms.

Add a bit of oil to a large pan and lightly fry the garlic, onion, and bell peppers.

When they are tender, add the ground beef and cook for just a few minutes.

Add the mushrooms with a bit of salt. Cook the vegetables and beef for 5 minutes on medium heat.

Add the spinach and continue to cook the vegetables until they reduce in size.

Lastly, add the couscous to the pan and mix with the rest of the ingredients until they are well integrated.
Tips & Tricks
You can add additional spices to the recipe like ground cumin, ras el hanout, etc. and even a few raisins.
