Ground Meat, Vegetable, and Rice Bowl
“Sometimes it pays to keep it simple. That’s just what this dish is all about, made from ground meat, carrots and rice. Simply an uncomplcated and delicious combination.”

Put a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and heat. Then slice up a garlic clove and add. When the garlic starts to color, add the rice. Stir for a couple of minutes and then add the water and a teaspoon of salt. Cook over high heat for 7 minutes, then reduce and simmer for 8 more minutes. If the rice has absorbed all the water in this time but is still hard, add a little more water. Let stand.
Peel the carrots and the garlic clove. Mince the onion, carrots, mushrooms, and one garlic clove together in a food processor. Don't worry if you don't have a food processor; use a knife.
Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a skillet. When hot, add the chopped vegetables and Fry over medium heat for 4–5 minutes,stirring often.
Add the ground meat and season with a little salt and pepper (if you like it). Cook for 5–6 minutes more.
Put the rice you are going to eat into a bowl and top with the contents of the skillet.
Tips & Tricks
Try something different by adding loads more vegetables to the dish. Use up any leftover vegetables in your fridge. It will taste delicious.
