Instructions

Put water into a pot to boil. Once it begins to boil add the salt. Place the eggs inside and cook for 10-12 minutes. After this time, remove, place in an ice bath, and then remove the shell. Dice the egg.

Peel and grate the carrot. Also wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.

Place the spinach into the salad bowl and follow with the carrot, drained tuna, diced egg, and some cooked rice. Gently mix.

Lastly, place the halved cherry tomatoes on top.

Tips & Tricks

Dress the salad to your liking. We used oil, vinegar, and salt.

If you don't have already cooked rice, we'll tell you how. For this, add a tablespoon of olive oil in a pot, and once it is hot, add the sliced clove of garlic. When it begins to lightly brown, add the rice. Stir it for a couple of minutes before adding double the amount of hot water (0.5 quart) with a pinch of salt. Cook over high heat for 7 minutes and then turn down the heat to low and cook for 8 more minutes. If in this time, it absorbed all of the water and is still hard, add more water. Let it sit for a little bit.
