Instructions

Wash the lettuce leaves, dry them, and set aside. Also wash and slice the tomato. Try to remove the water the tomato releases.

Cut open the bread and spread a bit of hummus on each slice.

Place a bit of lettuce on one of the slices of bread with hummus. Next, place a slice of ham, a slice of cheese, and another slice of ham. Add several slices of tomato on top, followed by more lettuce before closing the sandwich with the second slice of bread.

Repeat these steps to put together the second sandwich.

Tips & Tricks

You can use whichever variety of bread you would like: bagel (like we did), pita bread, baguette, sliced bread, etc. Whichever you have available.|We used baby romaine lettuce since the leaves are compact and not too big. They go great with this type of sandwich but you can use any other lettuce you have in your fridge: romaine, iceberg, etc. Whichever works!
