Instructions

Wash the lentils thoroughly under running water. Then wash the tomato and carrot, and peel and prepare as desired (sliced, diced, grated...)

Put the lentils into a bowl and add the carrot and tomato.

Cut up or crumble the cheese and add to the salad. Dress with olive oil and wine vinegar. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

If you want to amp up the flavor, you can add some boiled egg. Just bring a pan of water to a boil and cook the eggs for 10 minutes. Then let cool, peel, slice, and add to the salad.

Fresh cheese or ricotta cheese makes a delicious addition.
