1 clove
Pantry ingredients

4 tbsp
white wine
3 tbsp
salt
4 pinches
wheat flour
2 tbsp
olive oil
3 tbsp
Instructions
1
Wash and mince the parsley and garlic.
2
Beat the egg in a big bowl. Add the minced parsley and garlic and stir well. Finally, add the meat, breadcrumbs, wine, and a little salt. Mix together with a spoon.
3
Use your hands to roll the mixture into balls the size you want.
4
Put the flour on a plate and lightly dredge the meatballs.
5
Partly fry in a skillet with oil. They will finish cooking later when you put them in the sauce.
6
Now make the sauce. Firstly, prepare the ingredients. Cut the onion and tomato, and, optionally, a green bell pepper into very small dice.
7
Put a little oil into a skillet and cook the onion. When soft, add the tomato and pepper, and bell pepper if using. You will see that the tomato takes a while to become soft and fall apart. This is normal. Add 2 cups of water and the salt and cook for 10 minutes.
8
Then add the meatballs to the skillet and cook for 5–10 more minutes. Remove from the heat and serve on a plate.
Tips & Tricks
You can use ground beef to make the meatballs. It’s also a good idea to add a little pork for extra flavor.
If you decide you just want to make meatballs, skip the step for the sauce and keep frying them in the skillet until they’re well cooked.
