Preheat the oven to 400ºF.

Wash the apples. Use a peeler to remove the apple skins. Slice the apples lengthwise into thin strips, discard the apple core.

Spray 2 small glass dishes or ramekins with nonstick spray and divide the apple slices evenly between each dish.

In a small bowl, mix 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 2 tsp of brown sugar together.

Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mixture over the apples in the dishes, then set them aside.

In a medium sized bowl, create the crumble mixture to go over the top. Combine the cup of oats, the almond flour, the pecans chopped, the butter, another 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and the rest of the brown sugar. Use a fork to mix and combine the crumble mixture into small pieces. Spoon the crumble on top of the apples.

Bake at 400ºF for approximately 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the apples are soft.

Serve warm or store in the refrigerator, covered.

We used pecans nuts in the recipe.
You can use almond flour in the recipe .
