Instructions

1
Put 1 tablespoon olive oil in a pan and heat. Then slice up a garlic clove and add. When the garlic starts to color, add 1 cup rice. Stir for a couple of minutes and then add 2 cups hot water and 1 teaspoon salt. Cook over high heat for 5–6 minutes, then reduce and simmer for 10 more minutes. If the rice has absorbed all the water in this time but is still hard, add a little more water. Let stand for a few minutes.
2
Wash and cut the broccoli into small florets. Cook for just 3–4 minutes in a pan of boiling water. Drain and set aside.
3
Wash and slice the mushrooms.
4
Heat a little olive oil in a large skillet. Then add the minced garlic and the mushrooms. Lightly fry over medium heat for 6–7 minutes, stirring often. Next, add the broccoli to the skillet and season with a little salt. Lightly fry for a couple of minutes with the mushrooms, stirring often.
5
Finally, add 5–6 tablespoons of the rice you’ve made to the skillet. Stir the rice with the other ingredients so they mix well and cook for 1 more minute. Now it’s ready to serve.
