Rice with Egg and Tomato

Instructions

Add a tablespoon of olive oil in a pot, and once it is hot, add the sliced clove of garlic. When it begins to lightly brown, add the rice. Stir it for a couple of minutes before adding the hot water with a pinch of salt. Cook over high heat for 7 minutes and then turn down the heat to low and cook for 8 more minutes. If in this time, it absorbed all of the water and is still hard, add more water. Let it sit for a little bit covered with a cloth.

While the rice is cooking, fry the eggs. Fry them one at a time so the oil's temperature doesn't change. Add olive oil to a pan and let it cover the whole pan. When the oil is hot, add the egg. Lightly splash the egg with hot oil with the help of a spoon or slotted spoon until the egg yolk starts to cook. Remove using the slotted spoon and add a pinch of salt on the yolk.

Serve. Pour some rice onto the plate, followed by the egg and a few tablespoons of tomato sauce.
Tips & Tricks
You can add a couple of sausages such as frankfurt, and it goes great with the dish.
The garlic isn't necessary, but it does give the rice a nice touch.
