Peel and dice the potato.

Bring water to a boil in a pan. Add the salt and the diced potato. If cut them small enough, the potato dice will cook in about 10 minutes. Drain and let cool.

While the potatoes are cooking, use the time to prepare the other ingredients. Wash the lettuce and cut into the desired pieces. Put into the bottom of your bowl.

Cut the avocado in half, scoop out the flesh, and arrange on top of the lettuce.

Add the smoked salmon fillets cut into pieces, and finally the diced boiled potatoes.

You can dress the bowl with oil, salt, and the juice of half a lemon.
Tips & Tricks
Do you have any small dill pickles or cornichons in your fridge? If so, great! Slice up 4–5 of them and scatter over the diced boiled potatoes. You can sprinkle a handful of chia seeds over the whole salad. And if you want to make your bowl extra special, boil an egg and add it.
