Preheat the oven to 400ºF.

Mix the flour, yeast, and salt in a deep bowl and set aside.

Add the room temperature butter into another bowl along with the brown sugar and mix using a hand mixer.

Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract to the bowl with the butter and mix for several minutes.

Without stopping the mixer, slowly start to add the liquid mixture into the flour mixture you had set aside. Do this until you have a smooth texture.

Grease a mold and add the mixture you have just made. Place fresh halved strawberries on top so as to cover all of the batter. Place in the oven on the lowest rack.

Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until a toothpick or knife come out clean when you prick the center.
Tips & Tricks
Before serving you can sprinkle some powdered sugar on top as decoration.
