You can start by preparing the dressing for the salad. Using a food processor or food chopper, add the yogurt, peeled garlic clove, juice from half a lime, and a handful of fresh cilantro. Blend and set aside.

Wash the lettuce and thinly slice. Wash the cherry tomatoes and halve. Place these ingredients into a salad bowl and mix well.

Drain the black beans and add to the bowl, along with the chopped avocado. Gently mix so the avocado doesn't get mashed.

Add the dressing on top and toss the salad again before serving.
Tips & Tricks
This salad can also be used as a scrumptious filling for tacos. You can also serve it as an accompaniment to any kind of fish or meat.
If you don't have a food processor or food chopper, you can make the dressing by hand. You need to finely chop the garlic and cilantro and mix with the yogurt, lime juice, and a bit of salt.
