Rinse the chickpeas under running water and drain.

Cut open the avocados and scoop out their flesh.

In a blender, combine the chickpeas, peeled garlic, salt, cumin, the juice from the lemon, tahini, oil, and avocados. Blend, gradually adding the water until the mixture turns creamy.

Transfer the mixture in a bowl and serve with Melba toast, corn chips, or something you can spread the hummus on.
Tips & Tricks
Don't worry if you don’t have any tahini; it's simple to make at home. It couldn't be any easier. You need 2 teaspoons of sesame seeds and 4 tablespoons of water or olive oil (whichever you prefer). Wash the seeds. If the seeds are not already toasted, toast them in a skillet for 5 minutes. Once cool, combine the seeds and the liquid in a blender and blend to a paste. Now you do have tahini
You can add a handful of cilantro since this goes really well with avocado. Just add it to the blender with the other ingredients and continue with the recipe.
