Rinse and strain the garbanzos.

Add the garbanzos to the blender, along with the artichokes, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, oil, salt, pepper and a cup of water.

Blend well until you get a smooth and creamy texture. The hummus might come out a bit dense, if you want it less dense then you can add more water while blending until the consistency is to your liking.
Tips & Tricks
You can decorate your hummus with pieces of artichoke, some chives (dry or fresh) and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
