Remove the garbanzos from their container and rinse under water and strain.

Cut the pumpkin into thin strips or small cubes. Add water to a pot to boil and then add the pumpkin. When the pumpkin is nice and tender, turn off the heat and strain. Place in a blender or food processor and blend until you have a smooth texture.

In your blender, add all of the ingredients: The garbanzos, pumpkin puree, peeled clove of garlic, salt, cumin, juice from 1/2 lime, tahini sauce, and the oil. Blend well until it becomes creamy.

Pour the hummus in a bowl and serve with pita bread or crackers. Enjoy!

You can decorate the hummus with seeds and a drizzle of olive oil.
