Instructions
1
If you don’t have any cooked rice in your fridge, start by making the rice. To do this, put a tablespoon of olive oil into a pan and heat. Then slice up a garlic clove and add. When the garlic starts to color, add 1 cup rice. Stir for a couple of minutes and then add 2 cups hot water and 1 teaspoon salt. Cook over high heat for 7 minutes, then reduce and simmer for 8 more minutes. If the rice has absorbed all the water in this time but is still hard, add a little more water. Let stand for a few minutes.

Wash and cut the broccoli into small florets.
3
Fill a large pan with water and add a little salt. Add the eggs and boil for 10–12 minutes. After about 5–7 minutes, add the broccoli to the same pan and cook together with the eggs for the remaining 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and carefully remove the broccoli from the pan. Take out the eggs, cool in cold water, and peel. Cut each egg in half.

Put the rice you’re going to eat into a bowl and add the broccoli, and eggs. If you want to add a delicious dressing, check out the "tips and tricks" section.
