Creamy Broccoli and Chicken Pasta

Instructions

Cut the chicken breast into medium size cubes. Add some salt and pepper and set aside.

Prepare the rest of the ingredients the following way: peel the garlic and finely chop. Peel the onion and dice. Wash the basil and finely chop. Lastly, wash the broccoli and finely chop.

Place a large pan on the stove on medium heat and drizzle some oil. Add the chicken and cook for 3 minutes.

Add the garlic and onion you have just cut and cook together with the chicken until the garlic and onion are browned.

Add the chicken stock (or water if you don't have stock) and the heavy cream, stir well and add the pasta. Cook for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally so that the pasta doesn't stick to the pan.

Add pepper to taste, and also add the chopped basil, and broccoli. Stir and cover the pan for 5 minutes until the broccoli cooks well.

Sprinkle some parmesan cheese over the pasta and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Tips & Tricks
This recipe is ideal to make with short pasta.
If you would like you can substitute the fresh basil for dry basil, oregano, or thyme.
