Peanut Butter, Apple, and Nut Toast

Wash and cut the apple into very thin slices.
Shell the pistachios. Chop the pistachios and almonds. You can use a meat tenderizer or a food processor for this purpose.
Toast the bread and spread with peanut butter. Make a layer of apple slices on each piece of toast. Finish by sprinkling with the chopped nuts.

Using whole-wheat bread is a healthier option.
You can also sprinkle over with grated dark chocolate for a little luxury. We love this combination.
