Instructions
1
Wash and rinse the whole lettuce leaves, taking care not to tear them.
2
Cut the chicken breasts into strips. Mince the onion and peel and finely dice the carrot.
3
Lightly fry the chicken in a skillet with olive oil, about 3 minutes. Then add the onion and season with a little salt (you can use soy sauce if you prefer), and fry for 3 more minutes over medium heat.
4
Finally, add the carrot and cook everything for 2 more minutes.
5
When everything is cooked and ready, divide the contents of the skillet between the lettuce leaves and wrap into rolls. Now you can enjoy these delicious Asian-style lettuce wraps.
Tips & Tricks
Don't hesitate to use soy sauce instead of salt.
To give these wraps an extra taste of the East, add a little ginger to the filling. If you use ground ginger, add when cooking the onion. For fresh ginger, mince a little and add together with the onion.
