Beef and Mushroom Tacos

Instructions

Wash and slice the mushrooms and half of the onion into strips.

Heat a little olive oil in a skillet and lightly fry the mushrooms and onion you have just sliced over medium heat for 5–7 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt.

Cut the steaks into strips. Heat a bit of oil in a skillet and cook the meat. Season with a little salt.

Add the meat to the skillet with the onion and mushrooms. Add the shredded cheese and stir for 10–15 seconds, or until you see the cheese starting to melt. Turn off the heat.

Warm the corn tortillas in the microwave for a few seconds.

Fill each tortilla with the contents of the skillet and serve immediately.
Tips & Tricks
The number of steaks you need will depend on their size. As a guide, we used two because they were large and made enough for four tacos. You’ll know if you need more meat or not.
Warm the tortillas according to the instructions on the package.
