Instructions

Wash the lettuce leaves and cut into your desired size.

Either slice or dice the chicken.

Open the pomegranate and remove the seeds and set aside.

Drizzle some olive oil into a pan and cook the chicken with a pinch of salt. When it's a golden brown, add the walnuts (you can crush them a bit with your hands if they are too big). Sauté with the chicken for just a couple of minutes.

Place the lettuce in a bowl. Sprinkle the contents from the pan on top and finish by adding the pomegranate seeds.

Tips & Tricks

If you dare, you can bread the chicken and make the salad a bit more original. To do this, dip the chicken strips in a beaten egg, then dust it with the breadcrumbs before frying in the pan.

If you'd like you can add a creamy cheese to the salad.
