Instructions

Boil the pasta in a pan with water and a pinch of salt for the time shown on the package.

Start by preparing the ingredients. Wash and slice the mushrooms. Cut the onion into strips. Mince the garlic.

Heat a little olive oil in a skillet. Then add the mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Season with a little salt and lightly fry for 6–8 minutes over medium heat, stirring often.

Add the water and continue to cook over medium heat for 5 more minutes.

Add the corn starch and stir well to dissolve in the liquid in the skillet.

Finish by adding the yogurt. Stir well to incorporate into the sauce.

You can add the macaroni directly to the skillet and mix with the sauce, or serve the macaroni and sauce separately to mix on the plate.

Tips & Tricks

The creamier the yogurt (plain and unsweetened), the creamier the sauce.

If you prefer to make a vegan version, use plant-based yogurt.

Remember that corn starch makes a great thickener for sauces.
