Creamy Pumpkin and Cheese Pasta

Cook the pasta for the time indicated on the package.

Finely chop the pumpkin and cook it in a pot with water and a pinch of salt.

Finely chop the onion and lightly fry in a pan with some oil.

Blend the cooked pumpkin and onion in your blender. Add some salt.

Add the blended mixture to the same pan used to cook the onion. Add the cheese to the pan and let it melt. You can add some milk or light cream to thin the sauce.

Lastly, add the pasta to the pan and mix. Finish the pasta by adding a handful of walnuts on top before serving.
