Orange and Nut Bars

Instructions

Soak the dates in hot water until they are tender.

Place the cashews in a food processor or chopper and grind until they begin to expel the oil.

Add the orange zest and 4 tablespoons of orange juice, the dates, shredded coconut, and coconut oil and grind again. Make sure to use a spatula or spoon to remove the excess ingredients from the walls of the processor. Do this as many times as necessary.

Make the dough into bar shapes and place in the fridge.

You can eat them this way or you can bake them in the oven at 400°F for about 12 minutes so they become firm.
Tips & Tricks
You can use whichever nut you prefer (hazelnut, almond, pistachio, peanut, etc.).
You can bathe them in chocolate or eat them as you like, and add a bit of salt.
