Super Simple Chocolate Cake

Instructions

Peel the banana and place on a plate. Use a fork to mash it until you get a puree.

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Place the yolks in a bowl and add the banana puree and cream cheese. Mix the ingredients.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave in low temperature in intervals of 30 seconds. Set aside.

Whip the egg whites into peaks.

Add the chocolate to the cheese mixture.

Gently fold the egg white peaks.

Add the batter to a greased mold about 6 inches in diameter and bake for 35 minutes at 350°F.

After this time let it cool down before demolding and decorate as you would like.
Tips & Tricks
We used about 3.5 oz of minimum 70% dark chocolate.
If you would prefer, the banana can be substituted for a date paste.
The cream cheese can be substituted for ricotta or cottage cheese.
