Creamy Garbanzos with Broccoli

Instructions

Chop the onion and garlic finely.

Add some olive oil to a large pan and lightly fry the onion and garlic on low heat, taking care not to burn it.

After 3-4 minutes add the tomato puree, light cream, spices, and salt. Cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Add everything to a blender and blend.

Using the same pan, cook the broccoli for a few minutes.

Add the sauce you've just blended, the cooked garbanzos, and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.

Serve the garbanzos and broccoli and the sauce accompanied by a bit of rice.
Tips & Tricks
If you want to give it a more exotic flavor you can substitute the light cream for coconut milk.
If you don't have cooked rice you can cook it following the instructions on the packaging.
