Macaroni in a Pumpkin Sauce with Mushrooms

Put water to boil in a pot. Cook the macaroni when the water begins to boil for the time indicated on the package.
Cut the pumpkin into small and thin slices. Put water to boil in another pot and cook the pumpkin until it is tender. Remove from the heat and drain. Shred the pumpkin using a fork.
Chop the mushroom into small cubes. Finely slice half onion and peel and chop the garlic. Lightly fry the onion and garlic in a large pan or skillet. Add the shredded and cooked pumpkin to the pan. Sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes.
After this time has passed add the milk to the pan and stir. Let it cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Add the contents from the pan into the blender and blend.
Sauté the chopped mushrooms in another pan with a pinch of salt.
Place the macaroni pasta into a dish. Pour the sauce over the pasta and mix so the sauce blends with the pasta. Finish by adding the mushrooms on top of the pasta.
Tips & Tricks
You can sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top of the pasta after serving.
