Instructions

Chop the bell peppers and onion and cook for 10-15 minutes (depending if you want them more or less tender) in a pan with a bit of olive oil and salt.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta as indicated in the instructions.

Once the peppers are ready, add the tomato sauce and mix with the cooked pasta. Stir and let the ingredients cook for a couple minutes so the flavors mix. Serve in 2 plates and enjoy!
Tips & Tricks
Add a bit of oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper to the sauce for added flavor.
You can substitute the tomato sauce for fresh tomatoes and just cook them together with the peppers.
Pick a tomato sauce without added sugars to keep the dish healthy.
If you would like a wholesome dish you can also add a bit of protein such as chicken, seitan, tofu, or turkey.
