Pantry ingredients
soy sauce
2 tbsp
honey
1 tsp
sesame seed
1 tbsp
olive oil
1 tbsp
Instructions
1
Combine the soy sauce, honey, and sesame seeds in a bowl and add the tuna steaks, coating well with the marinade and sesame seeds. Marinate for 10 minutes, turning the steaks over from time to time. Drain the marinade from the steaks into a container and set aside.
2
Put a little olive oil into a skillet and cook the steaks as desired. If you like it pink on the inside, cook for 1 minute on each side and for several seconds on the outer edges. If you like it practically raw, sear over high heat for several seconds on each side and remove. And if you prefer your tuna well done, cook for 2–3 minutes on each side.
3
Remove from the skillet and transfer to a plate. Drizzle with a little of the marinade you set aside earlier and serve.
