Spaghetti with Broccoli and Parmesan

Instructions

Bring water to a boil in a pan. In the meantime, cut the broccoli into very small florets.

When the water comes to a boil, add a pinch of salt and the pasta. Cook for the time indicated on the package, stirring occasionally.

Slice the garlic. Heat the oil in a skillet and add the garlic and a chilli pepper. When the garlic starts to color, add the broccoli and lightly fry for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Add the juice of 1/2 a lemon to the broccoli and cook for 7 more minutes.

When the pasta is cooked, transfer to the skillet with the broccoli and add the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
Tips & Tricks
Don’t drain the spaghetti in a colander. Use tongs to transfer directly from the pan to the skillet. This prevents it from sticking and keeps it moist.
If you want to save time, shred the broccoli instead of cutting it. Don’t throw the stems away because you can use them to make a creamy soup with other vegetables.
